Hotel Perichi's

The location near the beach is hard to beat, and the price is fair. The hotel itself is old and a bit rundown.

The room was beat up, with peeling wallpaper and paint. There was just one sheet, no comforter, and only two towels. No toiletries except a single bar of soap that expired in 2016, and I have pictures. There was no microwave, mini fridge, or hotel ice. The listing promised continental breakfast, but there was no breakfast. The place felt almost abandoned, with machinery by the pool and an old, abandoned restaurant. It was horrible at night, beside an abandoned school building, with no parking lot lights, no hotel security, and strangers walking by. The pool had no towels, we weren’t allowed to take room towels there, and it closed at a ridiculous 9pm. The old red-haired lady was rude and acted like asking for an extra towel was a crime. Horrible experience. A nearby motel ( acuario) is better and costs a quarter as much. DO NOT PAY UNLESS YOU SEE YOUR ROOM FIRST!

The sea-facing location is nice, and the sunset is beautiful. That’s the only good thing. The hotel looks stuck in the 70s, staff included. The place is outdated, the room smelled of mold, and the drapes were dusty.

The price is modest for such a good location, near some good restaurants. Service was good, and the pool is nice for kids. The surroundings were clean, though the property needs investment and improvements.
