Breakfast came with our room, but it was too salty for us, and we would’ve rather ordered eggs. The staff were slow to help, often caught up talking with each other or looking at their phones. I think there should be some limits on phone use while they’re working. The room itself was really spacious and clean, and we liked having a separate kitchen with a sink, microwave, and fridge. It was chilly up in the mountains, so a hot tub would’ve been nice. They could turn the kiddy pool into one. We were glad we didn’t end up going to the casino.

Dinner looked appealing, but there was no seasoning and it tasted like nothing. Breakfast didn’t seem to get much attention either. Even as a Platinum Elite member, all I got was coffee, juice, or prepackaged cornflakes. The hotel is basically good, but the heat in our room failed for two nights, even after a maintenance guy came to look at it. That was a bit disappointing. Food at the hotel is about what I usually expect at a Four Points.

We paid over $400 a night, and the room was about what you’d get at a Comfort Inn. The air conditioner was so loud I really wished I’d brought earplugs. Breakfast was included, but it felt like a freeway stopover. There’s a casino, but you can find casinos at beach hotels near San Juan too. This place is close to nothing. Booking here was a big mistake, so shop around.

The photos gave me the impression there’d be a hot tub, which is why I expected one. There isn’t one anymore, they turned what used to be the hot tub into a kids’ pool. It’s a pretty standard hotel, and probably the lamest Sheraton I’ve stayed at. I really thought it would at least have a hot tub.

The food was great and the rooms were extra clean. Service was great too, and the front desk staff and guards were all very professional.
