Isla Verde By The Beach Guest House

The shared setup worked fine for us since we don't mind being around other guests. Our part of the guest house had a common room, kitchen, and bathroom to share, though keep that in mind if you want more privacy. Russell was easy to reach and helpful, and gave us a couple of good local food and drink suggestions. My wife and I were in Room #2 for two nights. It was small but had what we needed, including a little cooler and two beach chairs. The internet was strong enough for my wife to lead a Zoom call, and the location made it easy for us to explore Isla Verde.

The location was good, but I left the morning after checking in because the stay was really bad. I hadn't realized that only the bedrooms had AC, and the rest of the house was unbearably hot. The louvred windows let in all the outside noise, the couch was broken, and although the kitchen was well equipped, it was dirty. The ceilings were cracked and the paint was peeling. I canceled, but didn't get my money back.

They overbooked and made me cancel. First they said my credit card had been declined. Avoid.

I paid $361 total for three nights and thought it was a nice little place for the price and location. There was an in-ground pool, a private entrance, Roku, and lots of spare pillows and towels. The kitchen had everything needed to cook, and there was a washer and dryer too. I'll be back plenty more times! 💪💪😎😎🌴🌴🇵🇷🇵🇷
