Our daughter especially loved the hammocks, talking with Paco the Macaw, and chasing lizards in the shaded seating area out back. We stayed three nights at the Palmetto Guesthouse, and it was wonderful for our family. Jack and Kate were absolutely Wonderful, and the accommodations were excellent. The outdoor shower was handy for rinsing feet and gear, and there was a spot for our bikes. The location worked perfectly for getting to restaurants and heading to beautiful beaches in every direction. The rooms had ice cold air conditioning, en suite restrooms and showers, and private mini fridges that kept our snacks chilled. Highly recommend.

Nana Kate welcomed us and made sure we were settled and secure in our cozy rooms. We could cook and eat whenever we wanted. The guesthouse was clean and easy to get to, and Jack was so friendly. We enjoyed spending time with him.

The rooms were solid and I really enjoyed my stay, but I got bitten up badly by a lot of bugs. Bring bug spray if you go into any room besides your own. I'm leaving with so many bites. Paco the bird outside was adorable, though.

The hosts were the best part, super knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The place is nicely placed between Flamenco Beach and the port town, near the small airport and just a couple blocks from jeep and cart rentals. Rooms are small but clean, with beach towels and a fridge. You can borrow boogie boards, chairs, and coolers, too. There's a nice outdoor area to hang out, just remember the bug spray!

I felt safe traveling solo as a woman here. The bedroom was cozy, with a private bathroom, shared kitchen, and great AC, and it was clean. It's close to jeep and golf cart rentals, about a five minute walk to a grocery store and a great coffee shop, and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown Culebra. The hosts were great and had mosquito spray, sunscreen, and aloe to use if you'd forgotten yours. The spray was needed!
