Palma Vista Seven Seas

The villa was roomy, comfortable, and clean, with parking and a secure gated entrance. It's right on 7 seas beach, which was beautiful and clean, near El Conquistador resort in fajardo.

The ocean view was great, though we couldn't swim. The rooms are dated and need a lot of repairs, and the outdoor floors are so slippery there's no sign warning you.

We left exhausted because the roosters outside the window started crowing around 2 or 3 a.m. The window had no glass, and even our sound machine, the AC, and earplugs couldn't cover the noise. We were there the first week of January 2023, at Palma Vista beachfront penthouse condo A-302, with our toddler and two elderly parents. We'd seen reviews mentioning roosters, but when we asked the host directly, we were told it wouldn't be a problem. We usually get up around 5 with our toddler, so we thought we'd manage. We couldn't sleep, and rest matters on vacation. After we raised the sleep issue, the hosts said we could leave and get a refund for the nights we didn't stay. It was a hard call with a 2-year-old, a crib, and my parents, and moving took a full day out of our seven-night trip. We left the condo pristine, but they didn't refund us after all, despite what they'd promised. They said, "It's part of the island experience." Ivelisse Rivera Borges, the host, and Ruth Febres, the property manager, didn't provide a restful stay and added stress by not following through on the reimbursement.

We had a lovely view from our spacious condo in this gated complex, and it made a nice base for our vacation. It was fairly clean, and the appliances were all updated.
