Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa

The staff set the tone here, friendly and attentive without making anything feel rushed. We found the whole place welcoming and easygoing, and left refreshed, happy, and already talking about coming back. There’s room to spread out on the soft sand, with warm water and a chance to switch off. We enjoyed the ocean views and gentle breezes in the morning, then watched postcard-worthy sunsets in the evening. It’s a lovely spot to kick off your shoes, breathe in the sea air, and unwind. Highly recommend it for a relaxed, authentic beach break in Puerto Rico.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, and housekeeping were very friendly without getting in the way. The first-floor ocean-view suites are spacious, though the view itself isn’t really open. Still, you can walk straight out and reach the beach in a very short stroll, which was convenient. The food and drinks were okay. The local beer was nice, and there was some decent fish, though the menu had a lot of pork. We got two water bottles a day. We slept in, so we never tried breakfast.

We’d stayed here before and loved the facilities and accommodations, so it was good to come back. The resort is well kept, and I lost count of the pools at five. With low occupancy, we could wander around and rent kayaks for an easy trip to Gilligan island. The staff were attentive and seemed well trained. The disappointing part for us was the dining. The food available on the property didn’t match the resort experience, and in my opinion they need to improve it. Our meals were a real letdown. We’re from PR and currently live in Florida.

I have Alpha gal, which is a difficult and pretty scary syndrome, and the restaurant staff took such good care of me. Every meal was safe for me and delicious. Everyone we met across the departments was kind and friendly, and it’s a beautiful place with excellent excursions. I’ll be back!
