Nomada Beach Hostel - Adult Only

We had such a good time at this hostel, and I'll definitely be back. The dorms were well kept and arranged so you could hang out with people when you wanted, but still sleep comfortably. There's also a pool and deck that had a Love Island feel. It's about a five-minute Uber ride from la placita, and the FREE T5 bus goes to old San Juan, condado, and other places. They offer great, cheap excursions with pickup from the hostel too. I went to el yunque! 10/10.

We booked online for a one-night stop between our flight arrival and cruise departure, mainly for the location and price. We'd never been to San Juan, Puerto Rico before, and it was easy to get an Uber there. The comfortable tropical feel, pool, clean and pleasant room, restaurant, and hotel staff made us feel very welcome. The next morning we took another short Uber ride to Condado Lagoon for an 8 am clear-bottom kayak tour with Night Kayak. What a tropical paradise right in the city! Highly recommended.

Our room was beside the pool, where speakers were playing loud music, but they stuck to quiet hours and offered to turn them down as soon as we checked in. Check-in and checkout were easy, and there was plenty of safe street parking. The room and kitchen were clean, the staff were friendly, and it's one block from both the beach and an amazing bakery.

Our flight was delayed, so we needed somewhere to spend the day and came across this hostel. It was so much better than our Airbnb, and I wish we'd found it sooner. The place is cute and central, around eight minutes from the airport, with a pool and very clean, convenient accommodations. There are three showers connected to the dorms, and it feels homey. Service was impeccable. The guy at the desk was the absolute best, and I wish him well. I'm sure we were all cranky and tired, but he was great.
