Hotel El Eden

The private pool was my favorite part of the room. My husband and I had a really nice stay for the night, then chose to add another 6 hours. We’ll definitely come back.

Fine for a 6-hour adult stay, but the place needs more upkeep. There wasn’t even any toilet paper.

The private courtyard faced east, so we could leave the blinds open and wake gently with the sun. The place was very clean, which matters to me, and everyone was nice. I’d return, especially for that courtyard, though the room we had felt suited to one couple. I’ve seen photos of bigger rooms too. The bathroom wall was see-through and didn’t reach the ceiling, so there wasn’t much privacy for my husband and me. We’ve had bathrooms like that before and know how to manage, but it’s never our favorite. The shower was large, which is always great in a hotel. There was a place to hang clothes, but no proper closet or dresser, so our things ended up spread around since we were in Puerto Rico for a long time. You have to ask for a blanket. There’s no front desk, but you can call from the room at any hour and someone will bring what you need. The person who answers doesn’t always speak English, though they try their best. There’s almost always an English-speaking manager on site who can come to the room if needed.

I was traveling solo and slept great. It was a pleasant surprise, clean, and the staff were helpful. Just keep in mind it’s an adults-only place.
