Mari was wonderful about answering questions and offering suggestions. We also appreciated the dishes for making quick breakfasts and coffee, along with the umbrellas, beach chairs, and sand toys. The house was a good size for three of us over our 4 nights in March 2024, though we spent most days out exploring. It was mostly clean, but the furniture and bar stools looked a bit dirty and worn. Several restaurants are an easy walk away, and it’s a quick drive to the rainforest, kioskos, beaches, and more. We felt safe walking around, and everyone was very friendly. Ernestina’s was an awesome restaurant. The biggest downside was the noise at night. People seemed to drive around late with music blaring at a level that could leave them needing hearing aids before 50. It woke us several times, even with the AC, sound machines, and earplugs. Then the roosters started around 5 to 5:30 am, though that may be the case everywhere in PR.
