If you need a good night’s rest, I’d look somewhere else. We paid over $150 and couldn’t sleep because the bed was broken. This isn’t a hotel with a lobby: everything, including the entry instructions, comes by email, and the internet signal on this side of the island isn’t great. After I complained, the person I contacted said they’d included a phone number in one of the emails and I should have called, as though the broken bed were my fault. It was 1 AM after a late check-in, and calling was the last thing on my mind. They didn’t apologize or even say they’d sort it out. There’s no way the person who made the bed could have missed the pieces of wood on the floor. That’s no way to treat customers.

We left after two nights, only because the Airbnb we had to book wasn’t available until the next day. I regret booking this place. The website photos look far better than the actual rooms, which had old, uncomfortable beds and were missing many amenities available elsewhere. We were the only guests on the property and didn’t feel safe. A rock was holding the garage door open, so anyone who knew about this “highly secure” setup could have entered the gated area. It felt like a rip-off, especially since better places can be found for less. I strongly recommend avoiding it.

The inside was clean, but the living room rug smelled bad, the dining chairs were falling apart, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. It’s an okay place if you don’t have another option.

The bed fell apart, and my partner woke up covered in a rash. We asked the company for a refund, but they did everything they could to deny it. In the end, we got just $27 back for a five-night stay. :/
