Villa Abby B&B

The town square and church are just around the corner, and we were able to come and go easily. It's a humble place, but it feels like home. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were friendly, polite, and awesome. We stayed a few years ago to say our final goodbyes to my Pápi, rest in peace, Daddy. Gracias Villa Alba! Check whether there are fiestas or other activities before your trip.

The Villa was sparkling clean, and Emily and Alicia are treasures. Alicia, the wonderful owner, made me feel like I was back at my grandmother's house as a kid. She treated us like her own sons and daughters, even getting up to make coffee and a Puerto Rican breakfast when we left her house at 4:30 AM.

Breakfast is provided in the morning, and the coffee is great. There's a farmacia around the corner, along with a cafe with great food and coffee. The place is close to lovely beaches and other tourist spots. It has good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a great shower and bathroom. There are also a washer and dryer, an above-ground pool, and indoor and outdoor eating areas. The owner has had to be away because of the hurricane, so I haven't met her. Emily, the hostess, has been taking care of everything and doing an amazing job. If you're staying in Quebradillas, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Alicia was sweet, honest, warm, and really helpful. The room and bathroom were simple but clean, and breakfast had lots of options, was well made with good ingredients, and came with an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. I didn't get to use the pool, but the backyard looked nice. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet by Puerto Rico standards. That's different from the mainland US, but I never felt unsafe walking to Leo Pizza. It was a great stop on the north coast. One extra thing, the upstairs smelled wonderful. Hotel smells are usually bad when I notice them, but I actually miss the house's clean, sweet scent.
