I felt safe and well looked after, and management was quick to respond. The other guests were friendly, respectful, and down-to-earth. I stayed in a container and found it really comfortable, especially hanging out on the deck. Still, that wonderful beachfront is the main draw!

We had the beach practically to ourselves during our two-day stay. Cute, clean, comfy place. Everything was perfect!

The location was great, and the photos show exactly what the place looks like. But the shower was dirty and had hair in it, and the towels were dirty and had hair too. The shades were dirty as well. I told the service staff, but they did nothing and acted like they didn’t care. I wasn’t asking for much, just fresh towels or at least a discount on the cleaning fee, and they ignored me. It’s sad because the place has potential. If clean towels and a clean bathroom matter to you, look elsewhere.

We’re hoping to come back with family someday. The beach is great for swimming, with a sandy bottom to walk out on and some reef for snorkeling. It only runs along the property, so it feels basically private. We stayed in 204 and were surprised to find a jacuzzi tub on the deck. The bed was cozy, the internet worked fine, and it was the first place on our trip to Puerto Rico with hot water. We’d love to know where the robes came from. There’s also an outdoor kitchen with a stove, pots and pans, and what you need to cook, though I didn’t use it. Backup generators are there, and the people were pleasant to talk to. You can rent two chairs and an umbrella for $20 for the whole stay. I recommend it. The woman who delivered them was nice, and they’re the nice Tommy Bahama ones from Costco. They’ll wear over time, and the $20 makes sense to cover delivery. Fishing was good. I tried a lot of gear, and an x-rapp used to walk the dog worked well and seemed to catch needlefish. I did best with squid on a bottom rig. I snorkeled out and found some deep holes, so I tied a 12lb line between my rig and weight and lost a few weights. There were constant lane snapper. I’m from California and don’t know how to fish here, but I learned you really need big hooks. The fish go after huge bait and hooks even when they’re tiny. I never figured it out. Reading the other reviews made me laugh. Behind the hotel are trailers that seem to be vacation spots for locals. They’ve built little decks with outdoor kitchens and fixed them up nicely. A few families came over the weekend, and they were all nice people.
