I still miss the open grill at the incredible bar. The happy buzz of busy customers, music, waves, the view with Desecheo in the background, and the smell of burgers and shrimp searing used to be intoxicating. Villa Cofresi has always been a fun hotel with great service. After Hurricane Maria caused terrible destruction, they restored it and made it beautiful too. Adding a dehumidifier to the room was thoughtful. Any time around sunset here feels like paradise, and it’s still one of my favorite hotels on this planet. Thank you!

Everything was as described, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. We had a really good experience at villa cofresi. The atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing, which made our stay even better. We’d definitely stay again.

The view from the deck or beach at sunset is perfect, and dinner was delicious. We came to the restaurant several times while staying in Rincón and felt very welcome even though we weren’t hotel guests. The atmosphere was great. The Pirate Surprise is worth ordering and makes for a good IG post. The kids especially loved the Bolitas de Queso. Check it out!

The drinks were spot-on and well made, and service was quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly. During sunset happy hour at Villa Cofresi, the restaurant’s spot right on the water gives you the kind of view that does most of the talking. An easy place to recommend, especially as the sun goes down.

Great sunset views from this very nice beachfront hotel, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We had a problem with the AC remote, and they fixed it in less than five minutes. You can borrow umbrellas and beach chairs, though you have to set them up yourself. The fitness center is in another building, a two-minute walk away.
