Holiday Inn Express San Juan

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express San Juan Condado. The location is very walkable, with shops, restaurants, the beach, and nightlife all easy to reach. It’s just off the main street, between Condado Lagoon and the beach. Our room had a pleasant partial ocean view, though the windows could’ve been cleaner. I’ll take a view over no view any day. The complimentary breakfast, pool, and Wi-Fi were convenient. Breakfast was good, but during a busy spell we waited about 30 minutes for the bacon and potatoes to be replenished. Everything else made up for it. There’s no hotel parking, and finding a spot in the area can be tough, so plan ahead if you’re renting a car. We’d definitely stay again.

We were there for our son’s wedding and had a great time. Perla at the front desk made us feel welcome, Santa in House Keeping was incredible, and Antonio served a delicious Complimentary Breakfast. The staff were excellent, and we’d definitely return. Old San Juan is close, and taking an Uber there was easy. I can’t wait to get back to Puerto Rico and see more of the island.

I slept well, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the airport and nearby tourist spots, and I’d definitely recommend it. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, and they had almond milk without me even needing to ask. Hotels never have that alternative! Street parking is poor, so you have to valet, which costs extra. The street right in front floods each night, just so you know.

The room was clean and pretty standard, with a very comfortable bed, fridge, and microwave. Check-in was easy. There are two small elevators. Restaurants and city bus stops are a block up on the main avenue, and the cruise terminal is very close.
