La Calma Poshtel

We liked the local feel of the neighborhood, away from the touristy areas, and the location was handy for all the places on our itinerary. The room was good value, clean and comfortable, and the balcony was a nice addition. Street noise at night was the one drawback. It didn't bother me, but my partner found it disruptive. We really enjoyed the stay and would come back. Ask the host if you need anything.

We had a nice, clean, cool room in a cute neighborhood, with plenty of food close by. There was a little trouble getting our code information, but it got sorted out and didn't affect the stay. Las Torres, a pastry, coffee, and sandwich place about a block away, was amazing.

The room was much cuter, cleaner, and bigger than we expected, and absolutely worth the money. Nearby local food and drinks were easy to find, and we'd definitely return and recommend it. Communication wasn't perfect because their systems were down that day, but once we figured things out, we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The location looked really sketchy to me at first since I don't know the area, but I felt safe and secure the whole stay. It's only about a two-minute walk from a cluster of bars, and Uber gets you close to Condado beach and walmart. I wouldn't rent a car for this unit, just use Uber. The hot shower and cold AC were good. The TV didn't work, and after I messaged through the app they said someone would come, but nobody showed. The rooms are shallow, so I get why they ask for quiet at night. I also forgot how important a refrigerator and iron were until I found out this unit had neither.
