Juan was extremely responsive and helpful, and getting to check in hours early was a huge help with our travel situation. The rooms are basic, but in our experience they're clean, have a reasonably comfortable bed, and good A/C. For the price, it's very fair value, especially for such an ideal location. The checkout time is quite early, at 10am, and housekeeping tried to enter our room multiple times before then while we were still in bed. That's why I wouldn't stay here again. 11am checkout is the earliest normal time.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and a good size. It's in a quiet spot at least at night, and the location is good, though street parking could be a problem. Most things are impersonal and self-serviced, but that isn't necessarily bad. It's not a fancy hotel, but it covers most needs at an affordable price.

Getting help was difficult since there’s no front desk, and the check-in details arrived quite late, which made our arrival more stressful. The room also missed basic things like hangers, a hair dryer, coffee maker, and even napkins. We didn’t get room service either. It felt like a very bare-bones stay that fell short of what I expected.

The location is a big plus: the beach is about four blocks away, Old San Juan is roughly a 15 minute drive, and there’s a 24-hour grocery store less than a block away. Basilisa Taberna Urbana is right across the street, Starbucks is about a block’s walk across from the grocery store, and two art museums are also walkable. There’s no parking, though street spaces by the grocery store were fairly easy to find within a block or so. For the price, this place is fantastic. It’s simple, but clean and updated, with a small fridge and TV. There’s no coffee or microwave. I’d definitely recommend it if you want an affordable base for a Puerto Rico trip.
