Hotel Las Vegas

The room itself was basic but nice, with a garage for the car, cable or satellite TV, an okay shower, and even shower slippers. Check-in was quick, the bed was simple but fine for resting, and the location was a reasonable distance from Ponce. I’d booked here after another hotel lost my reservation, and found this place on Expedia. The reason for my one star is what happened when I returned from dinner. The owners or staff were in the parking lot with a pit bull off leash. As I was closing the garage door, it barked, growled, ran underneath, and came at me inside. I kicked it and got back out, then went in again as the door was closing. The staff called the dog back and it ran out. It was frightening to have it suddenly charge at me, and nobody working there apologized. In the morning, the same dog was shut in the office area, barking. I didn’t want to go in after the night before, so I called someone out. The motel stay was otherwise basic and fine, but having that dog come after me was unacceptable. Without that incident, I would have rated the stay higher.

The room was okay, but I had to kill about 8 mosquitoes from the ceiling and wall when I got there. Staff were pretty rude, too. They woke me with a call 20 minutes before my 6 hours were up. They should call only when someone goes past their time.

Each room felt more like a little loft than a standard motel room, and came with a private garage for a small or midsize car. There’s plenty of space, a comfortable bed, a relaxing shower, and a small table with two chairs. The AC worked well. It was a pretty interesting place to stay.

The toilet has its own little room with a door, while the sink sits right between the bed and the big see-through shower. The room has air conditioning, and I have to say, it’s the best-looking motel I’ve stayed in.
