We had a lot of living space and the location was good, but the place needed a serious cleaning. When we arrived, the floor was so dirty my feet turned black. The cupboards were full of junk and there weren’t enough kitchen appliances. We talked to the owners, and I hope they do a better job in future.

We were glad to find space for 10 people in Bethlehem, but arriving was a shock. The place was so dirty that we had to hire a cleaner, and they refused to deduct the cleaning cost. The equipment they’d promised wasn’t all there. Most evenings there was no hot water, the sink was blocked, and we had nothing to cook with, so we had to buy things. They also kept coming into the apartment without telling us. At 1560$/week, this felt like a scam. We should have left on the first day.
