Herdade D. Pedro

A great choice for a relaxing holiday.

There are charming towns and villages close by, along with plenty of Portuguese tableware factories to visit, whether you want to see how the pieces are made or replace your own dishes. Lisbon is about two hours away, and the setting here is magnificent. It was an incredible break and a lovely way to recharge.

Salsa, the estate’s ever-present dog, is its little hostess, sharing affection wherever she goes. The estate itself felt warm and welcoming, and was ideal for a few family days in harmony with nature. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The rooms and other spaces are spacious, comfortable, and full of light, so we could enjoy a beautiful sunset. The kitchen is very well equipped. I highly recommend it, and this has become a special place I’d like to visit again 🙂

We were welcomed so warmly. Our house was very spacious, with a porch at the back and a fabulous view. It had everything needed for cooking and relaxing. We had some lovely time at the pool, usually on our own, except for Sal and Salsa, the property’s sweet dogs. Watching the sunset was a wonderful experience.
