Everything was very good and the price was great too. The room and service were both great, with the beach very close by, along with a bar, restaurant, and pool. Thanks to everyone. I’ll come back if I’m in the south of Portugal again.

For the price, Torre Velha was about what we expected from the reviews. We loved the peaceful spot near the beach, the staff were amazing, and the service was very good. Drinks and food at the bar were affordable and tastier than we expected for the price. It’s a friendly place if all you need is a room to sleep in, without extra glamour. 😊 Our room could have been much nicer with a few small changes. It felt cold, plain, and not very cozy. There was a clothes hanger but no closet or shelves, and barely any counter or storage space, so all our stuff ended up crammed onto one table. There were very few outlets. The bedding wasn’t changed all week, and ants got into some of our food and our luggage. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The doors are very light, and other guests slammed them loudly.

The pool was clean and just the right size, and you can rent a car next door for very cheap. Scooby’s is worth a visit for breakfast, from 10am-12pm. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and a very good location. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the beds were really comfortable.

The room was dark and dingy. They didn’t change the bed during the 7 days I was there, and only changed the towels once. I was glad I didn’t spend much time in the room and checked out early. The food was plain and simple. We had no hot water for one day, and they didn’t seem very bothered, just said they knew.
