Apartamentos Atlantico by OA

We were happy to be away from Albufeira's livelier, louder nightlife, and the place felt better suited to families with children. It is about a 10-minute drive from Albufeira, with no public transport nearby apart from taxis. We had a great experience renting a car from Faro airport, as mentioned in my other reviews. The beach is about 10 minutes away, and there are plenty of shops nearby. Zoo, waterparks, and a large shopping centre are roughly a 30-minute drive away. The apartment itself was the best accommodation we've had abroad by far. The rooms are incredibly spacious, the kitchen and bathroom are in good condition and up to date, and our room had two balconies. There was a large bedroom wardrobe, plenty of TV channels, and unlimited internet with no hidden charges. Mrs Elena was a wonderful host, checking in daily to keep the place clean and take our rubbish bags. There's also a pool. It looks a little small, but it's shared by just nine apartments and was never crowded. We had it to ourselves more than half the time. The large parking area at the back was never more than half full while we were there, so finding a space wasn't a problem. There's a restaurant on site, though our busy schedule meant we didn't get to try it. The weather was pleasantly hot, with a steady breeze to cool you down. The ocean was colder than the Mediterranean, and the waves were bigger and stronger. We definitely hope to visit again soon.
