We felt at home straight away. The house is lovely, kept in perfect condition, and has all the equipment you could need. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. A wonderful stay, highly recommended!

We all had a wonderful time at Casa Do Mar. After renting Algarve villas for our families for several years, this has been the best one so far. The host deserves many thanks. The five large double bedrooms were comfortable and private, each with its own ensuite. There was more room than the photos suggested, and the layout worked very well. The villa had everything we needed, and we made plenty of use of both the heated pool and jacuzzi. Olhos De Agua suited us well, with a quieter setting and a beach, while lively Albufeira was still close by. The Intermarche just around the corner had all the food and drink we needed, and there was a good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.

The children loved the pool as soon as they saw it, and its secure fence made it a worry free area. The garden was well looked after, with locked gates so the kids could run around safely. We were five adults and four children under five, and had a really lovely ten days. The villa had plenty of room and everything we needed. We used the fridge's ice maker constantly, enjoyed the pool table inside and the hot tub outside, and found there was ample seating indoors and out. The barbecue got plenty of use too. Some furniture is a bit tired and could be upgraded, but we had no complaints. One small issue with the hot tub was fixed quickly after contacting João. Every bedroom has an ensuite, which made mornings and getting ready to go out much easier. Before the trip, João always replied promptly and helpfully to our questions. Yellowfish taxis handled the airport pickups faultlessly, with car seats and boosters for the children both ways. At the villa, Elia welcomed us, checked us in and was very warm and friendly. The location was ideal, with a supermarket five minutes away and restaurants, ATMs and the beach a 10-15 minute walk. We'd recommend O Duarte and especially Calheiros for its great fish kebab, though it's popular and there may be a queue if you don't get there early. We were sorry to leave and would absolutely recommend Casa Do Mar for a relaxing family holiday. We'd love to come back. Many thanks to João and Elia.
