The buffet breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh, tasty hot and cold dishes and plenty of vegan choices. Since we visited in mid-February, the restaurants were shut, though there were lots of nearby places to eat, including several vegan-friendly ones, which mattered to us. Our 'So Suite' was spacious but pretty basic. It had a queen bed, a sofa bed for our daughter, and a half wall between them for a bit of privacy. The kitchenette came in handy for lunch and for keeping food and drinks cold. It's a large resort, but all the trees and greenery make it feel relaxed and smaller than it is. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the beach is just a short stroll away.

We wanted somewhere romantic for our wedding anniversary, and our stay at Epic Sana went smoothly. The staff had left flowers, champagne and chocolates in the room, and kindly arranged the sea-view room we requested. The private beach was peaceful and beautiful. There was plenty to do at the property too, from the heated pools and spa to the daily activities. At breakfast, we especially liked the fresh orange juice, cappuccino and live egg stations. It ran until 11 a.m., so we didn't have to get up early. Everyone we dealt with was attentive, welcoming and smiling. As it was off-season, just one of the three restaurants was open. We had a lovely lunch there and would like to try the other two on a future visit.

The pine garden has a path that goes straight down to the beach, and the ocean view from the room is probably the most scenic I've had at a hotel. Even after many years of coming back, arriving and seeing it still feels like magic. The staff are always lovely, and the place manages to feel both fancy and really comfortable. Breakfast is incredible, a great way to start the day. I'm already looking forward to coming back next year.

Even when some facilities are closed out of season, the staff come up with good alternatives. Everyone we've met, from reception to the spa and other services, has been welcoming and attentive. We've never been told something can't be done, and things seem to get sorted easily. We really appreciate that, since we know it's not always the case. We spent another wonderful week at Epic Sana in December. We also enjoy exploring the Algarve and staying in other hotels, but we keep returning here. Falesia Beach is spectacular, and the natural décor makes the place feel pleasant and inspiring. We love looking out from our room over the garden and ocean, and the pine and palm trees in the landscaped grounds are so calming. Thanks again for a relaxing stay and for always going the extra mile.

The cliff walk has beautiful views and is a must. We had a stunning long weekend here, with a gorgeous hotel, well-kept amenities and staff who were both polite and efficient. We'll definitely come back.
