Living Lounge Hostel

The common area had an exceptional vibe, and the metro is just a three-minute walk away. It's a quiet area but lively during the day, with shops and restaurants nearby. This was my first hostel stay, and Living Lounge has set a high bar for anywhere else. Prices are reasonable for a budget traveller, the process was easy, and the employees were nice. Being able to check in and out 24 hours a day was handy for late flights. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and the beds were very clean and comfortable, even by my germaphobe standards. We also regularly saw the cleaning ladies at work in the bathrooms in the mornings. This would be my first and only choice for a stay in Lisbon.

As a solo female traveller, I felt safe both inside the hostel and outside. It's clean, easy to get to, and very relaxed, and I loved my time there. Reception staff were kind and helpful, with great tips for getting around Lisbon. The area is great for walking to places of interest. I rented the double private bed, which was comfortable and clean, with easy access to clean bathrooms. The shared areas were clean every morning, the WiFi was good, and breakfast was quick and awesome. Thanks for the bandaids and for the Ramiro’s Cervezeria recommendation. I'd definitely stay again at Livin Hostel!

I spent three nights here and loved it. The hosts were helpful, and the location was perfect, less than a minute from Baixa-Chiado Station and about five minutes from Praça do Comércio. Breakfast in the morning was superb and plenty.

The staff were amazing, and Miguel went out of his way to help me get my heavy bag up and down from reception. There's a luggage elevator at reception, though you have to climb four flights of stairs to get to it. I was pleasantly surprised by the hostel. For my two nights in Lisbon, the private room with a shared bathroom worked perfectly. The location couldn't be better, with shops and restaurants right outside. The room had great air conditioning, I never had to wait for the bathroom, and breakfast was free. I'd definitely book here again.
