The boys had a great time bowling, playing pool, going in the arcades, and throwing darts while we enjoyed a wee drink. It was a really chilled atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend the western bar at the very end for a relaxed drink away from the bustle where the boats come in.
The view was lovely, and it was such a relaxing, enjoyable afternoon. The food and drinks were so good, and the cocktail and mocktail ingredients all tasted very fresh.
A colourful, lively marina with lots of restaurants and shops along the water. It’s also the main hub for boat outings, including cave and dolphin tours.
We really enjoyed the boat ride. Our hostesses, Rita and Bianca, were lovely, and the captain patiently searched for dolphins until we found them. The rest of the trip to the Benagil caves was wet, beautiful, and interesting.
Bring money, there’s lots to do and the area is lively. It’s beautiful for photos, with all the buildings and surroundings. Boat tours also go out to caves and other spots along the shore. We took a dolphin trip and felt it was well worth the $30 each.
