It’s a lovely, roomy property in a beautiful setting, though you’re fairly far out, so you’ll really need a car to get to other places. The place was comfortable and clean, but could use a bit of upkeep.

This was the worst Airbnb. The house was very humid, and neither the cooktop nor the fridge worked. The door lock was broken, as were the outdoor chairs, and the BBQ couldn’t be used. We didn’t feel safe or comfortable there, so we had to find somewhere else for the rest of the week.

The house has a great view and a nice fireplace, and it stayed warm without radiators or drafts. The sofa was extremely comfy and the beds were okay. The town is just a 3-5 minute drive away. On the downside, there’s no duvet, TV, or kettle, the light switches are in odd places, and the WiFi doesn’t reach very far. The place also sort of reminded me of a horror movie, though maybe that’s just me.
