Hotel Balaia Senses

We'd come back in a heartbeat. The front office staff were so friendly and always ready to help with tips. The cleaning lady doesn't speak English, but she tries her best to communicate. Our room was clean and had everything we wanted for our stay. The pool was clean, too, and there's a bar where you can get a drink or buy snacks to take back to your room. We already miss the place and are looking forward to returning!

The view was a real highlight, and the rooms were large, cozy, quiet, and fully equipped. Everything was clean too. I’d happily come back next time I’m in Portugal.

You’ll want a car, though the supermarkets and other places to visit are only a few minutes away. The service was very friendly, and the rooms were lovely, with a peaceful setting and a nice view at night. They were tidy and had nearly everything we needed. A few repairs are due, including broken tiles outside and in the bathroom, plus some wall damage.

We arrived for check-in quite late, but the staff were very understanding. The place was quiet and relaxing, and we loved the pool area. Nick, the Nepalese guy at reception, was especially friendly and helpful. He was always keen to sort out any problems and gave us tips on activities and places to see. If it were up to me, he’d get five stars. 🙂 I’d read that some guests had trouble with the Wi-Fi, but it worked fine throughout the week we were there. Everything was very clean, our towels were changed often, and we could do laundry too. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’re planning to return next year. I’d definitely recommend it.
