The restaurant food was incredible, delicious and homemade with care, like food from one family for another. My husband and I spent several days in this enchanting place, and we’ll remember it forever. Thank you for the lovely room, perfect cleanliness, warm hospitality, and pleasant service. We stayed in a self-catering apartment above the hotel, and it was very well equipped with stunning views. The family-run restaurant served good home cooking, with a smile. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. This gem in Ermida is well worth a visit, and we plan to come back next year.

The family-run restaurant was the real surprise for us. The food was fantastic, especially the Posta for two: a generous plate with two perfectly cooked beef steaks, tasty vegetables, and potatoes. Breakfast was already part of the room price and had all the basics, from muesli and fruit to bread, ham and cheese, coffee, tea, and cake. My girlfriend and I stayed for the weekend while checking out nearby hikes. We were welcomed warmly and got the information we needed to find our way around. The room was spotless, and everything worked as it should.

We only came for a meal, but it was one of the best we had in Portugal. It tasted like delicious home cooking. Their dog Laika was lovely too, very friendly and sweet, sleeping outside :)
