Everything else was okay, and the rooms and location were fine. The other staff were friendly too. The downside was Markus, a grumpy old man who likes to complain.

I'd book again without hesitation. Our apartment had a pool view, comfortable beds, and a nice private balcony. It was cleaned every day and had plenty of room for up to four people, even though the kitchen was small. The pool area was lovely, and the bar made nice cocktails, especially the piña colada. Hotel staff were very nice, and there was a free shuttle three times daily to Oura Beach or oldtown albuferia. I was quite impressed.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and there’s a lift serving every floor. There’s a bar with snacks, and the pool is okay, though freezing. The place is around the back from Erin's Isle, which is great. They want a €200 deposit before handing over the keys, refunded if there’s no damage at the end. Keep the voucher they give you, and expect one person from your group to walk through the room with them before paying. Bring your own pool towels, or they may charge €20 to use theirs. The manager seemed not to like English people, though they acted differently when we were leaving. The other staff were very helpful.

António, who works nights, was really friendly and helpful. I hope he's paid well. The hotel itself was okay, but quite dated and short on facilities. I was caught off guard by the €200 deposit at arrival, since I hadn't seen it mentioned when booking.
