Musical Hostel

We arrived on bikes and were allowed to keep them in the enclosed patio yard, which was handy. The patio also had lots of drying racks for our laundry, plus a hot tub, tables with umbrellas, and chairs. The staff at Musical Hostel were friendly and accommodating.

The only thing I’d change is adding more hooks in the showers. Otherwise, 10/10. The hostel is right in the centre, and although the neighborhood is loud, earplugs blocked it out for me. I didn’t use the kitchen, but the terrace was pleasant and never too crowded. The dorm beds were comfortable, with curtains and air conditioning, and they gave us bath and beach towels. Everything was very clean and constantly being cleaned. All the staff, from reception to the cleaning team, were friendly and lovely. I hadn’t stayed in a hostel for over 20 years and was really impressed.

We were right by the party strip, with shops and supermarkets close by, so the location worked perfectly for us. I spent about two weeks at Musical Hostel and had a very pleasant time. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, the bathrooms stayed clean, and the rooms and practical, comfortable beds suited us well. Thanks so much for everything. I’d definitely return.

The staff were nice, and the place was clean and good. But security could be improved: the rooms don't lock, and without a wristband system there's no way to tell who is staying there.
