Muthu Balaia Sol Hotel

The pool area is lovely, and I think this place is underrated. The rooms look amazing and smell nice too. I love it, and think people should give it a better rating.

The pool was peaceful, with no mindless thumping music, and staff made sure guests didn't cause a disturbance around it. They were friendly and worked hard. The Balaia Sol was clean, both inside the room and around the outdoor pool. The room was basic but had everything we needed, including a great shower, cooking facilities, and a fridge we really needed in that week's heat. The beds were okay, though a bit more size would have made them much more comfortable. We'd go back, which says plenty.

The gardens and pool area are lovely, and I'd stay here again. The apartments were spotless and the rooms very well equipped, though the shower was small. It's about a 20-minute walk to the bars and restaurants, while the supermarket is only 10 minutes away. The place was quiet. The night porter was a lovely chap, the bar staff were friendly, and a large beer cost €4. They also had a limited range of reasonably priced snacks at the bar.

The location was spot on, the pool area was lovely, and the hotel was nicely decorated. The staff were lovely too. We didn't expect the world given how cheap it was, but this was insanely good value and surpassed what everyone in my group had expected.
