Muthu Oura Praia Hotel

The food was amazing, always fresh and varied, with something for everyone. Whether you're watching your diet or just love a good meal, it's easy to leave Portugal a couple of kilos heavier because it's so tempting, not because the food is heavy. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and sincere. Special thanks to Sandeep for always being kind and helpful, providing impeccable service, and bringing such a positive, warm atmosphere each day. I'm quite picky, and this is not my first visit to Portugal, but the hotel exceeded all my expectations. My spacious, comfortable room had a luxurious mattress for a great night's sleep and a fully functional kitchen, with every detail thoughtfully considered. I haven't tried many of the hotel's entertainment services because I spend a lot of time exploring, but every time I return, I feel at home and enjoy the comfort, coziness and happiness. I'm sure I'll come back again and again and happily recommend it to friends and family. For the price, it's worth every euro.

My best friend and I stayed for six nights. Nobody told us beforehand that we'd have to pay a £100 deposit before they would even give us our room key, and they never returned it after the holiday. I contacted both the hotel and the travel company I booked through, but still haven't received the money. We left the room immaculate. The food was shocking, and we had to go to a sister hotel for it. They also threatened to cut off our all-inclusive wristbands for no valid reason. Even borrowing a towel cost €15.

Being able to get an Uber to different places was easy, and the hotel is well located. But I chose it based on the cleanliness reviews on Priceline, and found two roaches in my room. The sink also drained slowly. That was really disappointing, since this would be a serious problem where I’m from. I told a staff member, but didn’t feel they did much to address it. It was my first visit to the country, so I didn’t make a fuss because I wasn’t sure what was customary. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to anyone. 💔

Carlra at the front desk made such a great impression with her customer service that I’d come back just for her. Dave and Dave said she’s amazing too. The welcome to the hotel and its nearby facilities was lovely, and we had a really good stay.
