The pool was clean the whole time and often warm, and all the shared areas looked tidy and smelled clean. Our room was nice, but the balcony in room 116 was tiny, barely big enough for more than two chairs. Our bedroom had no main light, only three lamps, so we couldn't charge our phones if we wanted the room lit at night. They took a €100 deposit per room, which felt very steep. We paid cash and got it back as soon as we checked out.

Check in got off to a bad start. The receptionist first said she couldn't find our booking, asked if we had the right hotel, and told me to check the confirmation. After I did, she found it about 15 minutes later, without an apology. She also insisted the tourist tax had to be paid straight away. I was happy to pay, but I had no cash and wanted to use another cash machine down the road. She refused to let us check in until I used the hotel machine, so I was forced to accept its rates. The room was as expected, clean and presentable, though a few kitchenette items were missing. The pool didn't have enough sunbeds, and its huge fixed umbrellas couldn't be moved to get shade or sun where you wanted. The lunch restaurant was great, with good snacks including salads and polite, efficient service. Despite cleaning, we saw cockroaches scuttle across the floor on two nights in a row. The first night the cleaner removed one we'd trapped under a bowl, and reception dealt with the other the next night. We asked to change rooms, and a lovely receptionist said she'd put in a request, but no one contacted us the next day. In the end, we insisted on daily cleaning and stayed for our last two nights. Only three of roughly ten plug sockets worked. The ironing setup was disappointing too: there wasn't an iron in the room, just a separate room where you could use one. For the price and four star rating, it was a letdown.

The location was perfect, with a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and 17-24 minutes to the strip. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, yet I still slept amazingly despite being close to things. The rooms were large and clean, with a well equipped self catering kitchen, big showers with commodes, and powerful AC units and a fridge with a freezer. The pool was large and clean, and there was a big bar and dining area on site. The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely, especially the sweetest chambermaid. The hotel had 24 hour security and plenty of accessible areas for disabled guests. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The air conditioning worked really well, and the beds and shower were comfortable. It’s a nice hotel in a handy location 😃
