The guy working at the Russo hostel left the strongest impression on me. He was always smiling and kind, and because of him I’ll stay here again in the future. Thanks, Na. ❤ The hostel was clean and nicely decorated, with a home-like feel. There’s a beautiful park across the street where I had my morning coffee.

Go in summer and you can try what might be the best snails in Setúbal.

Easy parking, a very pleasant welcome, and clean, soundproofed rooms. Several bus stops are nearby, especially handy for reaching the beach. The tourist office is 500m away, and there’s an all-you-can-eat Brazilian/Portuguese restaurant 800m down the same street. It’s right in the city center, which is a real plus. The bathrooms and toilets need work. With 16 guests sharing two bathrooms and two toilets, urgent needs can be difficult. The place also isn’t accessible for disabled people, as it’s all stairs.
