It’s about a 10-minute walk to the center. The service was great, and the staff were excellent. They’re also dog-friendly, which is a real plus if you’re travelling with a pet. Recommended.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with AC, a TV, and a very modern bathroom. It’s a very nice hotel with pleasant staff, and there’s a really amazing restaurant nearby. Head in any direction from the hotel and there’s something interesting to see.

We chose this place because it’s close to Setúbal station and well positioned for getting into the city center. The staff at reception were really kind, and the woman in the breakfast room sang so well that breakfast became my best ever. The breakfast food itself wasn’t amazing, though, which is why I’ve given four stars, especially since it’s included in the price. The rooms were clean, and while the hotel isn’t very new, it was fine. Check-in and checkout were super fast, and they can store your luggage if you’re out before check-in or after checkout. It’s pet-friendly, too. The owner’s lovely dog made everything better. 💖

For the price, it’s excellent, even if the place is basic and a little dated. Very clean, too. The breakfast supervisor was the highlight, so friendly, great with kids, and loves to sing. She’ll bring a smile to most people. We really appreciated her. August 2016.

The mattress was much too hard, which was my one complaint. Otherwise, the staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was good, and you can walk to the city center. It’s pet-friendly as well, and there’s a nice view from the fourth floor.
