The view across the whole old town is astonishing, and the location is quiet. The rooms were good, and I appreciated having room service every day even though this isn’t a real hotel. The kitchen, though, was poorly equipped: there was just one small pan, a few pots, no salt or pepper, and no microwave. The knives weren’t very sharp either, and none was suitable for cutting onions or herbs. The pillows were a bit too big for me.

The apartment was basic but lovely, with a fab large two-bedroom room and beautiful views. It’s an easy walk down the escalators to the old town, and the location is great. Getting in was another matter. The front gate key wouldn’t turn, and it took us nearly ten minutes to work it out; the apartment door was just as tricky. All the locks need replacing, and the time we wasted dealing with them will unfortunately put me off staying again.

The spacious, clean apartments were comfortable and had a great ocean view. But there’s no heating, and inside it was crazy cold in February. There wasn’t even a heated towel rail in the bathroom, and no Wi-Fi either. This could be fine in summer, but definitely not in winter.

There was plenty of street parking outside for our car, and the rooms were really well equipped. The pool area was nice, and it’s a great spot for walking into the old town. Great value for money, too.

Watching the sunset over the pool was lovely. The apartments were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with the best views. Shops were close by, and town and the beach were only a short walk away.
