The owner was lovely, and the shared rooms were cleaned every day, so everything stayed really clean. We could walk to all the places we wanted to see, and it worked well for a city stay. Just know it’s in a regular apartment, so there can be noisy neighbors. It didn’t bother us much, but it’s useful to know if you’re looking for somewhere quiet.

For this price and location in Lisbon, I don’t think you’ll find a better option. The hostel may be underrated. The kitchen and bathrooms were always clean, thanks to administrator Barbara, who kept an eye on things and was very welcoming. We had a big room for two with a balcony for five nights. It was quiet and pleasant for sleeping while we explored the city.

It was a bad choice for sleeping, with noisy people around and a lot of loudness. The rooms didn’t look like the photos, and the room condition was horrible. There was mildew in the toilet, and the kitchen was small and bad. This is the worst hostel I’ve stayed in.

The staff were respectful and agreed to refund us without any problem. That’s the one positive thing I can say. The room itself was scandalous. The bed was broken and literally missing a leg, the walls were moldy, and the place was extremely humid. There were also huge cracks in the walls, dim lighting, and an overall dirty feeling. I’ve stayed in much cheaper places around the world with far better conditions. This shouldn’t be allowed to host people.
