The Patio Suite Hotel

The Patio Suite Hotel surprised us in the best way. We arrived expecting an ordinary hotel stay and found a comfortable, high-quality place with service that impressed us. The team across the departments made it feel personal and welcoming, and their warmth alongside their professionalism left a lasting impression. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone after a relaxing stay in the Algarve. Our living area was airy and bright, with modern furniture and a calm, neutral look that felt comfortable as well as luxurious. The bedroom was beautifully put together, and the bed and linens made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and immaculately clean. Housekeeping kept everything in excellent condition each day, and the whole place felt relaxed but refined. We especially enjoyed the restaurant. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Breakfast had lots of options for different tastes, and the selection was replenished quickly. Dinner was just as impressive, with good ingredients and dishes that felt carefully prepared rather than like routine hotel food. Restaurant service was welcoming and attentive without hovering. The bar staff were friendly, efficient, and attentive too. Whether we ordered a cocktail, coffee, or asked for a menu recommendation, they helped make the evenings enjoyable. Until next time. Ciao.

The surroundings were beautiful, and the pillows, wine, Margheritas and meals were all fabulous. The staff were incredibly gracious, kind, and attentive. I really didn’t want to leave and am already making plans to return. If stress gets to you, book your own airport transfers ahead of time. The passport control situation can leave you wondering whether the trip is worth it. Get to the hotel quickly, try the pillows and wine, and settle into the peaceful surroundings. I can promise you, it very much is worth it.

We’ve stayed here three times in the past three years on the all-inclusive option, and the value for money has been very good. The buffet has a good range for vegetarians, and the drinks are decent quality too. It’s a great European getaway for April or May. The rooms are spacious and have exactly what you need for a four- or five-night stay. The location isn’t premium, but if you want to visit the Algarve, get good value, and come home happy, I’d highly recommend The Patio Suite Hotel.

The heated pool is quite small, but in November it was a real bonus. There are several comfortable seating areas and a bar, with plenty of sport on TV. Our apartment at Patio Suite Hotel was roomy and well equipped, and the restaurant had varied food of good quality. We mostly ate elsewhere, which says nothing against the hotel restaurant. There are several restaurants within a five-minute walk, and we especially liked O Antonio for good food, reasonable prices, and great service. If you hire a car, Salgados beach is worth trying. We also loved the beach bar and café at Gale East, around a 20-minute drive at most. Grab a coffee and enjoy.
