For Lucas’ birthday in 2024, we went to Restaurant Vila Joya and had a memorable evening. We started with creative, well-balanced cocktails as an aperitif, then had the tasting menu. The dishes looked beautiful, tasted great, and the courses flowed smoothly. Service was professional but warm, and they impressively spoke several languages, which added to the relaxed, international feel. We had a lovely ocean view from our table, and the setting was stunning. I personally didn’t enjoy the pigeon, as the meat preparation and flavor weren’t what I’d hoped for. That’s just my preference, though, and it didn’t take away from the experience. We had a fantastic fine-dining evening and would absolutely recommend it for a special occasion.

We had the lunch tasting menu on the terrace, looking out over the immaculate gardens and the gorgeous beach below. The food, service and view were all incredible, and the whole experience felt really special. Definitely recommend it if you’re in Albufeira and want a refined dining experience.

The view was gorgeous, and we caught golden hour over the ocean. Service was attentive and always came with a smile, which goes a long way during a nice meal. Our two-year-old and five-year-old had delicious custom pasta made by the kitchen, while my wife and I tried the tasting menu. Everything was plated, portioned and flavoured perfectly. We loved it and highly recommend!

We came to try the restaurant and were blown away by both the food and the surroundings. The setting and atmosphere were beautiful, the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, and the food was out of this world. The beach was also really fun and comfortable. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. We’d 100% book here again.
