Villa Paraiso

The owners were friendly and the area was peaceful, but the poor cleaning made the stay unpleasant. There were hairs on the floor and sheets, and the rooms had a stale smell that seemed to come from not being aired or cleaned properly. The bathrooms need a thorough clean: some tiles were dirty, with black marks especially near the toilets. Towel rails were loose, one shower stall was broken and could cause a leak, and another bathroom had a broken cistern. The kitchen also needed a proper wash before we could use anything. There was dust in the cupboards, food drips and cup marks on the shelves, and some mugs still had coffee, milk and sugar residue. The cutlery drawer looked unclean, and the only tablecloth was covered in stains, so we had to wash it. In the living room, I found dust on the furniture and a live cockroach. 🙄 Definitely not somewhere I'd stay again!
