The main house and shared spaces are comfortable in both summer and winter, and the outdoor area is especially beautiful. It's an old farm in a remote part of Alentejo, with the main house restored as a guesthouse. I usually rent the whole place with friends, and we have a fantastic time. The rooms can feel less comfortable in winter: there is central heating, but it only comes on at night. The kitchen has everything you need.

The setting is fantastic for making memories. It's mostly a place to spend time together, with family or friends. The grounds are cared for during the stay and have all sorts of tucked-away corners, some private and some more shared. There are games, and the mobile barbecue fed 20 people for three and a half days in our case, with plenty of utensils, plates and cutlery. A few things could be better: it's out in the countryside along a dirt road, the snooker table is worn, and the internet could be much better. Thanks to the host for being available and easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay.

It's a great place to unwind and relax with friends or family. A few things need attention to make a stay more comfortable: the barbecue is nearly falling apart, the snooker table needs decent cues so we can play without problems, and the tennis court net should be replaced.
