We felt like part of the family here. The lady of the house has such a calm, lovely presence, and even though our Portuguese isn't good, I understood everything when she spoke to me. Thank you! We prayed for you and your family in Fatima. If you visit your sister in Stuttgart, please get in touch. We'd be so happy to welcome you into our home. 😍

Our daughter, who's 23, and her hiking companion arrived after walking the Camino toward Fatima in the heat. Casal Dos 5 was full, but Mariana and Marcelino Jorge saw how tired she was and welcomed them into their own home. They looked after both of them, made them a wonderful breakfast, and sent them on their way. I really want to thank them for taking such great care of our daughter. If you stay at Casal Dos 5, please give Mariana a big hug from me.

The whirlpool, sauna and pool were a big part of why this place earned my top rating. It has a friendly feel, and the breakfast was amazing and generous. Mariana is a great host, and the cosy place is just right for getting some rest.

We’ll be back here. It’s a real find in Portugal if you want a five-star stay in a private B&B.

The house is fantastic, and there’s a warm-water indoor pool. The food and people are local too. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Best Bed and Breakfast in the country!
