The host was friendly and resourceful, and the rooms looked just like the photos. The design is modern and high tech. We were a couple and spent 4 wonderful nights here. It works well for four people, with two upstairs and two downstairs. Each room has its own door code lock, and only two rooms share a bathroom. The kitchen, dining area, and social spaces are shared by everyone. There’s no daily cleaning, though you can ask for fresh bath towels. The washer and dryer weren’t in service, but a laundry place is a 5 minute walk away. The area is quiet, and other districts are about 30 minutes on foot.

The location made it easy to walk into the center of Porto, and the hosts were welcoming and accommodating from the moment we arrived. My partner and I stayed one night in an urban suite, and its modern, stylish design felt cozy, like home. Sophia urban suits was a delightful stay. The rooms seem well suited to couples or solo travelers. We’d gladly come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable base for exploring Porto.

We were kept awake until 3am on the first night by loud neighbors, and the thin walls didn’t help. The rooms themselves are very clean and newly renovated. It’s a great value place to stay in Porto.

My parents had a good stay overall. The rooms were clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the owner was kind and communicative. The location was great, too. The main downside was that the bathroom and shower weren’t inside the room. With its modern look and new amenities, Sophia still made for a nice stay in Porto.

Lurdes was a wonderful hostess, and the rooms had thoughtful details and an efficient layout. They’re on the small side, but that wasn’t really an issue with the big shared kitchen and living room. The place was very clean, with a good bed and a perfect spot in central Porto for exploring the city.
