I really loved staying at this hotel in Alcochete, Portugal. The room was super comfortable, the service was great, and the staff were incredibly attentive. I accidentally left the “do not disturb” sign on the door one day, and they messaged me on WhatsApp to ask if I needed anything. That kind of thoughtfulness makes a difference. It’s a quiet little town about 25 miles (40 km) outside Lisbon’s city centre, ideal if you want somewhere peaceful away from the bustle. I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel is in a quiet town that’s still easy to reach, about 50 minutes from Lisbon by bus. My room was very nice and breakfast was excellent. Veronica at reception helped when I couldn’t figure out the light switches, which worked fine but were a bit different from what I’m used to in the US. When my universal plug broke, she also told me which electronics shop to try in the next town. I don’t think she expected me to walk to and from Montijo, but it made for a great walk. She was welcoming and asked me about it afterward. I’d happily return. My only small suggestion would be to add at least one USB port or charger to each room.

The rooftop was outstanding, and the staff were so friendly. We had a really pleasant stay in a great location. What an amazing place. We’ll definitely be back soon, and thank you!

Honestly, I made a big mistake staying here. This sleepy little town is way out from Lisbon, and it isn’t Lisbon itself. You’ll need to take an Uber or bus to get there, and the trip takes a while. Uber or Bolt is almost 40 minutes each way. The rooms are okay, but the minibar was disappointing, didn’t get cold enough, and had no freezer section. The hotel wouldn’t let me cancel the rest of my reservation either.
