We stayed on the first floor for 6 days and felt secure, with several code operated digital locks around the hotel. We had read reports of break-ins, but the area felt safe to us. The flat had two rooms, two bathrooms with showers, a full kitchen and a TV. Everything was modern, with plenty of shelf space for luggage and two balconies where we could open the doors for air and a view. The tap water was safe to drink, which meant no need to buy bottled water. The location was the biggest plus. Prime Lisbon is close to so much: Bica Funicular is a minute away on foot, Time Out market is five minutes away, and there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. There's even a smash burger place directly below. I'd recommend Prime Lisbon for the location, facilities and sense of security.

Our room was broken into two months ago, and all our valuables were taken. We contacted local police, and the property manager admitted the shared key had been lost weeks earlier. We were shocked that the manager knew about the missing key but still rented the place to us, leaving it open to anyone who had it. The property promised us a full refund, but two months later we're still waiting. It's unsafe. Don't stay here.

We were a couple staying in the building, and another couple we knew stayed in the one just 10 meters away. Both places had an attempted break-in and an actual one during our stays. That’s why I’m certain the robberies happened. CCTV could help establish what took place, but as far as I can tell nobody has been held responsible. If the building cameras aren’t reliable, residents might want cameras on their own floors. If those are interfered with, the message is clear. I checked Booking.com after reading the latest fabricated 5.0 review, which seemed to be trying to undo the established reports of several robberies at this Prime Lisbon accommodation. That review claimed Booking.com had positive comments about safety. The Chinese guest was called a fraud trying to get money, but what about the Hungarian guest in the screenshot who reported another robbery around the same time? And the Canadian guest in the screenshot who said he couldn't lock the unit from inside? More oddly, Prime Lisbon management itself promised to replace and improve security after being asked about the robberies. Why tell guests different stories if they’re so sure about their account? A company linked to multiple robberies is gaslighting victims and calling them frauds. What rental company tells guests not to lock their door from inside? I couldn't keep thinking about it. Let that sink in.

My friend was robbed here. The manager admitted to losing the key and promised a refund, but we've heard nothing since. Don't stay here if you want to protect your money and belongings.
