The one drawback was the limited food on offer. I hadn’t planned to cook every meal in the kitchenette, and when the weather was bad it was disappointing that there were no pizzas or hot meals, especially since most of the menu wasn’t being served. We ended up leaving the remote property for every meal. Still, the thoughtful amenities and excellent service made a real difference, and I’d come back, just better prepared. The rooms, service, and location were otherwise perfect: beautifully designed, peaceful, and restorative.

Spring evenings can be a bit chilly, though the rooms have heating. It’s a lovely place to unwind and reconnect with yourself and your partner. Waking up to birdsong and a dog barking in the morning was great.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and the dome rooms are beautifully designed and well maintained. The vineyard and countryside views are completely unobstructed. This is somewhere I’d come back to.

We were extremely happy with our stay and will return. It’s a five-star little getaway, though a few changes could make it better. The pool was cold and unheated, so a covered, heated pool would help. It was too windy to light the fire pit, and I’d wanted to roast marshmallows with my son, so a sheltered spot for it would be useful. They should also clearly explain the 48-hour rule for booking activities. We couldn’t go cycling because there were no bikes to hire for our little one. With these things addressed, I think they could welcome clients all year round.
