Spa d'Alma

We spent the evenings in the heated jacuzzi, looking up at the stars. The pool wasn't heated, so it felt a bit cold in April. It's a small, clean resort with just a few rooms and a lovely garden where fresh fruit was served at breakfast. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and made the stay feel very relaxed.

We parked under the shed, close to the property, and cooked a meal in the outdoor kitchen. Breakfast was served in the common room and had everything we could want. The whole place smelled of flowers, with all sorts of fruit growing on the trees, including oranges, citrons, grapefruit, and kumquats. Karin & Dirk-Jan were wonderful hosts, and over our four nights we enjoyed every moment. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was big enough and refreshing, and the jacuzzi was lovely and warm. We'd definitely come back one day.

You do need a car to get there, but it's a great base for lots of beautiful hikes. I had a really peaceful, pleasant stay at Spa d‘Alma. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The hosts were kind and polite, and always made time for a friendly chat. 100% recommended!

Coffee was available for free all the time, and the outdoor kitchen had everything needed to prepare food, so we didn't have to go out for lunch or dinner every day. Breakfast was simple and could have had just a little more variety. The rooms were as expected, and we loved how clean they were. There was a nice garden with many kinds of fruit, plus a pool and jacuzzi. The south beaches were a 45-minute drive and the west beaches about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Theo and Manuela were a lovely, welcoming couple and made us feel at home from the start. Definitely recommended.
