The shared setup is worth knowing about: the bathroom is downstairs and used by everyone, which can be inconvenient at night. Some guests arrived late and were noisy, and one accidentally tried my door, which startled me. Lock your door, especially if you’re traveling solo. The room itself was spotless, cozy, bright, and had newer furniture. The bed was incredibly comfortable. After several stays in Lisbon, this was the first place where I truly slept well. Nuno was a wonderful host who went out of his way to help, including guiding me into a parking spot on the property and checking that I had what I needed. It was a lovely, peaceful stay in Almada, in a quiet residential neighborhood. The house is beautiful and well kept, and the host is kind and attentive. Just keep in mind that it’s shared accommodation, not a private place.

The bed was very comfortable, and we felt at ease despite a few problems. The owners were incredibly friendly, but maneuvering a large car into the parking space was difficult. The guesthouse smelled a little dated and was noisy. There were a few hairs on the floor, and the dishes weren’t completely clean. We still thank the owners for their kindness.

Isabel is such a lovely person, and the welcome was wonderful. The neighborhood is peaceful too. I’ll be back soon.
