The free parking right beside the hotel was handy, and the little town has restaurants and a supermarket for the basics. Our room, #2, was compact, nicely decorated, and spotless. I also liked having a small kitchen to keep my things in and use the coffee machine. Breakfast was good, and the hosts were lovely and attentive.

The garden and pool were a pleasant spot to unwind, and breakfast had enough variety. The hotel is right in the town center, close to restaurants, amenities, and the N2. You can hear road noise with the windows open, but with them shut and the air conditioning running, it was quiet.

Andrea and her staff made us feel so welcome, and we had some lovely chats with the other guests around the big breakfast table. The breakfast was amazing too. There’s so much care in the details here, it feels like a little paradise in a small village. Thanks for a lovely stay, hope to meet again 🙏🏼✌🏼💪🏼💚

We had a great time relaxing on the shaded patio with a drink, then having dinner there on warm summer evenings. The rooms are modern and pretty spacious. Andrea kindly lent us a tandem, which was great for cycling around the area. It’s a good stop if you’re riding the N2, or a nice place to spend a few days by the pool. Andrea and the rest of the staff were so friendly, and we’ll be back soon. Definitely recommend it!

There’s no restaurant on site, but some good places are just around the corner, including 1680 Restaurant in a former convent dining hall. This is a small boutique hotel in a converted orange juice factory, a family property for three generations before it became lodging two years ago. The minimalist decor is great, with a bright breakfast room and outdoor patio, and the wifi is good. Motorbikes can park inside the gates. It’s a popular stop on National route N2, so book ahead.
