Such a peaceful place to unwind. I regret staying just one night instead of two or three. It felt more like a relaxing retreat or homestay than a hostel. Peter and his wife went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I’ll remember the swimming pool, the area for eating and preparing breakfast, the house cat, and all the fruit and flower trees for a long time.

Finding the nearby town of Alte and spending time by the pool made our stay feel magical. This quiet hillside boutique hotel was so tranquil and welcoming. Thank you for having us!

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and the shared kitchen was extremely well equipped. A charming hostel in a lovely spot, with a beautiful swimming pool. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this clean, quiet hostel, set among beautiful surroundings in the authentic Portuguese countryside. It has two separate rooms and a shared bathroom. The owners are incredibly friendly.

The owners were wonderfully hospitable, and they were so kind to my dog. They welcome dogs and treated mine with so much love. The house is beautiful and comfortable, full of greenery, with mountain views, a pool, a covered dining area, and another outdoor space where you can cook over a fire. One evening, the owner even set up a little table with candles for a romantic dinner. I loved the attention to detail throughout, including a small toiletries gift and a little bottle of water for each of us. Our room was comfortable, and sharing the bathroom with the other room wasn't a problem. The owner kept it clean and smelling nice. I was absolutely delighted.
